Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has been released afte spending one night in EFCC’s custody.
Tambuwal, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives and two-term Sokoto State governor, was detained and interrogated by detectives over an alleged fraudulent cash withdrawals totalling N189 billion during his time as Governor.
Tambuwal who’s currently at his Abuja residence is receiving visits from notable politicians from the coalition.
