The Benue State Police Command has begun the investigations into the killing of a youth mobilizer, Raphael Ikyav in Makurdi.
Ikyav was reportedly murdered late hours of Wednesday by unidentified hoodlums along Akpehe Road in Makurdi.
Sources around the area, said the hoodlums attacked Ikyav in his shop Wednesday evening and stabbed him multiple times.
The police image maker, CSP Catherine Anene said the hoodlums after the murder, left him in the pool of his blood.
She said that the Command received reports about the killing of the youth leader and investigation is ongoing.
