Edo State government will on Friday May 24th 2024, commence the distributions of rice in Ewu Flour Mill in Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of the state.
The event which is jointly organised by the state government in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Edo State, is to cushion the effects of subsidy removal on the citizens of the state.
It was said that the distribution is part of the the commitment of Edo State Government to alleviate the plight of the people especially at this critical time.
Truth Live News Media reports that the distribution of the rice programme will be flagged off by the state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki in EWU FLOUR Mill Esan Central Local Government Area of the state.
Recall that, similar exercise had been held in Edo South and Edo North Senatorial Districts state and thousands of persons have so far benefited immensely from it.
