Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, has told Victor Osimhen to take full ownership of his decision regarding his next club.

Truth Live News reports that Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent deal this summer after a successful loan spell at Galatasaray, where he won the league title and League Cup, and landed the Golden Boot award.

The 26-year-old has, however, turned down several lucrative offers from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia and is keen on continuing his career in Europe.

Okocha advised Osimhen to prioritize his own interests and those of his family, saying, “The decision should be his. Whether it goes well or not, he must own it.”

“I don’t believe in deciding someone’s future,” Okocha added, stressing “He should choose what’s best for him and his family.”

Several top clubs are vying for Osimhen’s signature, including Galatasaray, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Galatasaray want to keep him on a permanent contract and has offered a new deal worth €15m per year.

Chelsea are also a potential destination, with the club reportedly willing to offer a significant salary to secure his services.

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the prolific striker.

Paris Saint-Germain are rumored to be Osimhen’s preferred destination, but they need to resolve their striker situation before making a move.
