…As Osunbor Charges Tinubu To Emulate Goodluck Jonathan In 2027

Former Edo State governor, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, former Edo State governor, Senator Osarieme Osunbor, Ken Imansuangbon, have stormed the unveiling of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the South-south region of the country.
Others present at the event are Senator Roland Owie, Senator Ehigie Uzamere, the National Vice Chairman of the party, Usani Uguru Usani, Festus Igbinoba, the ADC National Chief Whip, Mabel Oboh, the Assistant Publicity Secretary for the South-South Zone, Dr. Isaiah Osifoh, Mike Ohima, Bright Honda, ADC, South-south youth leader and others.
Unveiling the party in Benin, the national chairman of the party, Senator David Mark, called for unity, resilience, and renewed dedication among party members, emphasising that the unveiling represents “a new chapter for ADC in Edo State — one built on integrity, service, and collective progress.
David Mark represented by the national Chief Whip of the party, Festus Igbinoba, said it should be noted that ADC is ready to take the mantle of leadership come 2027, therefore all hands must be on deck to make such come to fruition.
Speaking also, Chief John Odigie Oyegun lamented that the situation of the country has gone from bad to worse, from hunger to starvation, noting that it is only the ADC as party that can rescue the country from the present state.
For Prof. Osarieme Osunbor, the legal adviser of the party, said president Bola Tinubu should emulate the former president of the country, Goodluck Jonathan who said his election is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, therefore he has to concede defeat to late President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said the present administration has failed to provide security but good at taxing its citizens.
Osunbor added that those who have come to join the ADC knew before hand that the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party was bound to fail.
He called all Nigerians to join hands with the ADC to chase out APC come 2027.
For Ken Imansuangbon, the present administration should purge itself of corrupt adding that when such is done, things will fall into perspectives in the country.
He said the ADC has the wherewithall to right the wrongs in the country.
In his good will message, the National Vice Chairman of the party, Usani Uguru Usani, said Edo state is very pivotal to the party success noting that with the person of Chief Odigie Oyegun, the dream of the party will be realized.
Usani, said in the days of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Oyegun pioneered democratic governance in the state and he also at the advent of the merger of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he led the struggle to create the history of ousting an incumbent.
On the part of the ADC Edo State Chairman, Hon. Kennedy Odion, he commended all stakeholders, political actors, civic groups, and community leaders who have worked tirelessly to make the coalition a reality.
According to him “Your dedication demonstrates that when we put the interests of the people first, meaningful collaboration becomes not just possible, but powerful.
“As we move forward, let us remember that our true strength lies in our ability to work together. The ADC remains committed to promoting credible leadership, good governance, and policies that uplift every Edo citizen,
