The Nigerian Army troops from Operation FANSAN YANMA conducted a successful offensive under the TSAFTADAJI III – Phase 2 initiative in Zamfara State.
The operation took place in Ruwan Kunku, a village along the Gusau-Magami highway, resulting in the neutralization of four notorious bandits.
Truth Live News learnt that intelligence sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama, a norther security specialist and analyst that the operation, which spanned a week, targeted individuals responsible for numerous kidnappings and attacks on travelers along the highway. The bandits killed were identified as Nazifi, Sakkarawa, Sule, and Dan Kwaiba.
These individuals were part of a criminal network based out of Mai Rai Rai village in the Bini district, under Maru Local Government Area. They were also known associates of the late notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Zakiru.
A source stated, “As troops intensified operations deep into the bandits’ enclaves, more terrorists will be barbecued,” signaling a continued aggressive stance against bandit activities in the region.
