President Bola Tinubu on Thursday, attended the 50th anniversary of Guinea Bissau’s independence, alongside other world leaders.
The president, who was in the country at the invitation of President Umaro Embaló, in his speech, said that Nigeria is committed to promoting peace and democracy not only in Guinea Bissau, but in the wider West African region and the world.
He also pledged Nigeria’s support for the people of Guinea Bissau as they work to improve their country’s political and economic stability.
