The Edo State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Binigolo Ebimene and Mathew Denwei, for allegedly robbing a motorcycle and phones in the state.
The suspects allegedly committed the crime at Malim camp Gbelebu community in Ovia South-West local government area.
The police were alerted to the crime through a distress call from the victims.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects have been terrorizing farmers and commuters in the locality.
The suspects were arrested with a locally fabricated pistol and two headlamps, as well as the allegedly stolen motorcycle.
The suspects confessed to the crime and will be charged in court after investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, warned all miscreants in the state that there is no hiding place for them, urging them to either repent, relocate, or face the consequences.
The Commissioner also urged the people of the state to shun crime and report suspicious persons, movements, or objects to the Police.
