French professional football star, Christopher Nkunku will miss out of in the World Cup after picking a knee injury in training.

The 25-year-old striker had already made the Didier Deschamps 26-man World Cup Squad for the Qatar show off starting from 20th November to 18th December.

According to reports, the Leipzig striker had a ball challenge with Eduardo Camavinga in Tuesday’s training session at Clairefontaine which saw the French man clutching down his lower leg.
The French football has confirmed that the Chelsea target has been dropped following his injury after undergoing medical scans which showed how serious his injury was.
The French football on Twitter, “Injured in training, Christopher Nkunku drops out of the World Cup. The whole group shares Christopher’s sadness and wishes him a speedy recovery.”
