Seven people, including women and children, were killed and several others are missing after a midnight attack by armed herders on the Agbo Vengav community in Benue State.
The attack occurred around 1:00 am on Friday, when the gunmen launched a surprise assault on the community.
A source reported that a little girl was killed, and her mother was abducted by the Fulani herdsmen, with her whereabouts still unknown.
The assailants attacked the community in the middle of the night when people were asleep.
