Brazilian midfielder, Danilo Oliveira is edging closer to joining Premier League side, Nottingham Forest for fee of around €20m.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side are pushing to reach agreement with Palmeiras to sign the 21-year-old midfielder as Monaco are also in the race to land the Brazilian.
Arsenal and Atlético Madrid had previously shown in interest in the Brazilian youngster but seem to have cooled off now.
He said, “Nottingham Forest are pushing to get Danilo deal done with Palmeiras. Talks ongoing also during the night to find full agreement – Nottingham did their best.
Final fee discussed close to €20m — AS Monaco in the race too but NFFC working hard to get it sealed.”
Despite his youth, Danilo has already established himself as a regular in Brazil, and played 53 games for the club across 2022 as they won three trophies.
