Liverpool have beaten Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Arsenal to signing, Dutch star forward at the World Cup in Qatar, Cody Gakpo from PSV.
The Dutch forward put up a classic for the Netherlands team at the 2022 World Cup netting three goals in five matches.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal has been signed between the clubs on Monday night as Gakpo will sign long-term deal later this week as contract is fully agreed.
Liverpool will pay £37m plus add-ons, up to £50m potential package as Cody Gakpo will travel to England to complete his medicals as new Liverpool player.
He said, “Liverpool have signed Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven, the deal has been signed tonight between clubs.
Gakpo will sign long-term deal later this week as contract is fully agreed too.
