Two separate double stabbing incidents in London on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, have left two men dead and two others injured, prompting investigations by the Metropolitan Police.
The independent reports that the first incident occurred in Shadwell, east London, where emergency services were called to Watney Street shortly after 4:00pm. A man believed to be in his late twenties or early thirties sustained life-threatening stab wounds and later died in hospital. Another man in his fifties was also injured and remains hospitalised, with his condition not considered life-threatening.
Hours later, a separate attack unfolded at Primrose Hill in north London at about 6:40pm. Police responded to reports of a fight at the popular park. A 21-year-old man suffered fatal stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, believed to be in his twenties, was found nearby on Regent’s Park Road with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Metropolitan Police said officers are working to establish the circumstances surrounding both incidents and to identify those responsible. Detectives are also attempting to trace and notify the families of the deceased victims.
Authorities have appealed to members of the public who were in either area at the time or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward and assist ongoing investigations.
Both cases remain under active investigation.
