Veteran comic Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu has reportedly passed on.
Truth Live News reported in October 2023 that Mr Ibu was suffering from an undisclosed ailment that later resulted to amputating one of his legs, to keep him alive.
The veteran actor appealed to his fans and the public for prayers and financial assistance to cover his medical bills and also shared a video of himself lying in a hospital bed, expressing his fear of losing his leg.

Amidst speculations earlier this evening on social media that the actor had died, a tweep on Twitter posted a screenshot of a chat which revealed that the actor died this evening at popular Lekki clinic, Evercare hospital, in Lagos.
