Osun 2026: Davido Raises Concern Over Alleged Plot To Deregister Accord Party

Lucky Obukohwo, Reporting

Nigerian Afrobeat artiste, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has raised the concern over an alleged attempt to deregister the Accord Party ahead of the next governorship election in Osun State.

The artiste made the allegation in a post on X on Thursday.

Davido questioned the rationale for deregistration and called for a free, fair and credible election.

According to him, “Deregister Accord Party for what? Cowards let’s go to the field.”

This is coming 48 hours after Davido called out Gboyega Oyetola, the minister of Marine and Blue Economy, and the immediate past governor of the state, over an alleged desperate plan.

The Osun State governorship election is scheduled for August 15, 2026.
