The All Progressives Congress (APC) convened an emergency meeting today at the National Secretariat in Abuja to address the unresolved Edo State Governorship Primary Election. Following deliberations, the National Working Committee (NWC) determined that the election process remains incomplete.

In a statement made available to Truth Live News, the dispute arose after three aspirants claimed victory, with conflicting announcements from Governor Uzodimma and the state returning officer. Consequently, the party has scheduled Thursday, February 22, 2024, for the conclusion of the primary election.

The impasse casts a shadow on the APC’s credibility, underscoring internal challenges in maintaining transparent and orderly electoral procedures.
