Kogi State, Nigeria
As of now, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared results for 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Kogi State, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) is ahead by a considerable margin.
The ruling party’s candidate, Usman Ododo, has won eleven local government areas (LGAs); his Social Democratic Party (SDP) opponent, Muri Ajaka, has won six LGAs; and Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Party (ADC) has won one LGA.
Thus far, Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received 41,925 votes, Ajaka has received 208,503 votes, and Ododo has received 409,450 votes.
So far, Ododo has polled 409,450 votes, Ajaka has had 208,503 while Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has polled 41,925 votes.
