Nigerian music maestro, Ibhizugbe Osa known alias Biza Blingza is at the moment making name for himself big time in the music industry and he is rocking the airwaves with his latest EP Dutty O’Clock which was dropped on the 10th of April 2026.
The famous told journalist in Benin that artistes and women are interwoven and very critical for the sustainability of the music industry, stressing that, he is not seeing them as a liability but an asset to be treasured because they patronize them more.
“Artistes always love women. We sing for the women a lot because they are the ones that spend money on us. They buy our CDs, stream our songs. I don’t have any issue coping with women”, the Afrobeat hip-hop legend said.
The Afrobeat hip-hop big shot and songwriter who has featured notable artistes like Cyrus Tha Virus, Papichino and Diamant-B, hinted on already promoting three of his singles which are Gimmie Some Love, Bulls and Rah Rah at the moment.
The maestro who is born into music, revealed his love for American music rapper, Curtis James Jackson known professionally as 50 Cent whom he said has been one of his motivational forces though always wanted to be himself.
According to Biza Blingza, “If the opportunity comes to collaborate with 50 Cent, I’ll grab it. I’ll even cry, roll on the floor for that. That’s my idol”,.
The Manchester-based Afrobeats artiste with roots in Benin City, Nigeria, who sees music as a spiritual course and doesn’t rush to make it, said besides 50 Cent, he also derives inspirations from G-Unit and Cyrus tha Virus.
The music encyclopedia describes himself as a light that illuminates the darkest paths believing in his name, Biza Blingza.
“I gave myself that name Biza Blingza because I believe like I’m the light to the world. I believe I will shine bright and I think that’s a lot of things.
“I think that’s the main reason a lot of people are scared, you know, to be around me or try to give me the hand because they know I will always outshine them.
“So I just believe whatever I put my hand on, whenever I come, everybody will always notice me. So I’m like a light to the world”.
The musical icon who blends his rich African heritage with contemporary Afrobeat sounds, creating music that resonates with a global audience, further advised the youths to abstain from drugs and stop emulating what they see some artistes do on the screen.
